Building Nature-Based Enterprises

Empowering Entrepreneurs to Regenerate Ecosystems and Communities

EcoLaunch is designed for entrepreneurs ready to harness Nature-based Solutions, building enterprises that regenerate ecosystems and communities. With biodiversity declining at an alarming rate—25% of assessed species are threatened, with 1 million at risk of extinction within decades—this program is your opportunity to drive change. Global efforts like the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF) are directing policy and funding towards biodiversity conservation and ecological restoration, creating an urgent need and opportunity for innovative, Nature-positive Enterprises.

Why EcoLaunch?

Ecological restoration is critical for planetary health and holds immense economic potential. The GBF sets ambitious targets for halting biodiversity loss by 2030 and securing $200 billion annually in funding for these efforts. EcoLaunch equips you to seize these opportunities and position your business at the forefront of global biodiversity conservation efforts.

Program Structure

EcoLaunch offers around 80 hours of online content and twenty four 90-minute live sessions across three four-week sprints, with two-week breaks between each. Participants commit an average of one day per week, allowing for deep engagement without overwhelming workloads. To be eligible for a Certificate of Completion and to present at the high-profile public Presentation Day, participants need to have attended at least 80% of the sessions across the three sprints, and satisfactorily completed a minimum of 80% of the e-learning component.

Next Cohort

  • Sprint 1: 8th – 30th Jan 2025
  • Sprint 2: 19th Feb – 13th Mar 2025
  • Sprint 3: 2nd April – 24th April 2025

This cohort’s live session timing best suits participants in Europe, Africa, and Asia. The following cohort, convenient for North America, Latin America and Europe will begin in May 2025.
